4. Tutor Platform Policy & Service Fee

💡 Platform Service Fee: elearning deducts a one-time platform service fee of 1% of the total course fee from each tutor, per course listed. This is a single, non-recurring charge — you will never be charged again for the same course listing. This fee covers platform maintenance, student matching, payment processing, and continued technical support.
- The 1% fee is deducted only once per course — not per session or per student
- No hidden charges, no monthly fees, and no commission on renewals
- You retain 99% of all earnings from your course fees
- Fee deduction is clearly reflected in your tutor dashboard earnings report
- The fee is used to maintain the platform, support infrastructure, and marketing that brings students to your profile
Your tutor profile and session data are stored securely and used only for matching, quality assurance, and platform improvements. We do not share your full contact details publicly without your consent.
6. Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures including:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers
- Encrypted storage for sensitive personal and payment information
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Restricted internal access — only authorised personnel can access personal data
- Secure third-party payment gateways (we do not store raw card details)
